24 Hours in Boston: A Weekend Getaway from Charlotte Earlier this fall, Will and I hopped on a Thursday morning flight from Charlotte to Boston for a weekend that was part wedding celebration, part quick weekend getaway. Our main reason for traveling was to celebrate a friend’s wedding in Providence, Rhode Island on Friday. But we decided to extend our trip a bit to squeeze in some time in Boston. Our last couple’s trip was very different, so we were excited for a change of pace. We flew out Sunday afternoon, which gave us a little more than 24 hours to explore one of the most historic (and lively!) cities in the U.S. — and let me tell you, Boston did not disappoint! How to Get the Perfect Fall Manicure While it may still be forever hot where you’re located, fall is definitely upon us! If the climate isn’t allowing you to pull out your newest fall fashion finds, you can at least get into the spirit with a set of fall nails. Transitioning from spring to fall is always a fun time when you can switch color palettes for your manicures and pedicures. A few of my biggest tips? 1- Make sure your nail tech knows exactly what you want before you start. While the design might not be difficult, it could be more time-consuming than what they have space for on their schedule! 2-  I suggest using Gel vs. SNS! The jury is still out on which one is better for you (there are a variety of factors). However, I’ve found that it’s easier to have a bit more artistic freedom with gel nails.
