My one piece of advice: make sure you have a rough guest count before touring venues! It will help prevent wasting time & touring venues that don’t fit your needs :)

This is such a great post. You pretty much nailed the initial process of what to do after you get engaged. I got married six years ago and pretty much did the same process except we did have a set date in mind since our anniversary fell on a Saturday the year we were getting married so we wanted to keep our anni the same date.
