What a fun weekend in Charleston we had! I first of all want to apologize to my lovely
readers for how long its taken me to share these outfit details. Finals are no joke! Yes, I was the idiot bride who
decided to have her bachelorette party the weekend before the hardest exams of the semester. Thankfully, I was
planning for it since January and made sure to organize my studying accordingly. Now, back to our amazing time in
Charleston.
I was joined by 15 incredible women (and man lol) in one of my favorite cities! It was
equally special because some of them had never visited the south before, let alone the beauty of Charleston! We
started off the trip with some insane weather and I’m not even exaggerating. Probably narrowly avoided a total of 3
tornadoes and intense thunderstorms during our drive down. We all made it in one peace, praise God, but it definitely
threw off our initial plans for the trip! One group was initially going to arrive early and set up the place and we
also planned for the beach the following day. It ended up being the coldest day out of the month while we were there
(of course) but in the end, I honestly preferred it! Strolling through the downtown scene in cute outfits while it’s
90 degrees outside wouldn’t have been as enjoyable.

My next recap post will include what we did and our decor. But I wanted to share some of
these cute outfits before they sell out! This historic, coastal city absolutely captivates anyone who visits with its
multicolored houses and southern charm. I made sure to pack outfits that matched the same hues (blue, pinks, whites,
etc.) for the best photos! Below I linked not only the jumpsuit I finally decided on, but the other items I
contemplated too. After realizing it was going to be 50 degrees, I chickened out of wearing my “heaux” dress. I kind
of low-key regret that decision, but I’ll try and find another reason to break it out of the closet. LOL. My blush
utility romper from Abercrombie was perfect for exploring the College of Charleston and King Street!
*no, we didn’t go. BUT this is what I had packed for the trip! A solid Amazon swimwear
find.
