“Uptown Funk Gon’ Give It To Ya”!

When I first saw this jumpsuit in Forever 21, I was skeptical. Sometimes I like to pretend I’m Kendall Jenner as opposed to Kim Kardashian (as in I’m very short and not have a backside the size of Zimbabwe).  But alas, I’m 5’2. And as a petite lil’ lady, I try and stay away from pieces that only make me look shorter. But as fate would have it, I tried on this classic black and white number and fell in LOVE. It’s comfortable, versatile, and most importantly: cost-effective. Above I styled my jumpsuit to be more of an ‘uptown funk’ vibe. By adding simple accessories, it allowed my outfit to feel more funk than uptown. I could wear this on a day out in the city or a date. Take off the hat? It automatically becomes what I call, “off the clock” wear. The mix of the urban and contemporary style  allows you a lot more outfit choices which in turn is always better for your bank account. Can I get a heck yes, college ladies?! So don’t be afraid to mix styles and experiment! You never know what kind of FUNky stuff you can come up with! (See what I did  there? ;) )
