What to Wear: Fall Weddings

I’ve always thought fall would be the perfect time for a wedding! The weather is perfect for an outdoor ceremony and all of your Caribbean destinations for honeymoons would be in the off-season! I’m in the midst of planning my own wedding and we settled for the popular option of June. After 4.5 years of dating and grad school, we could wait until the fall of 2019!

So, what to wear to a fall wedding?

I could tell you to stick to autumnal colors like rustic orange or nude colors. I mean, this deep orange from Nordstrom is pretty amazing (especially for the price)! But for me, no color is off-limits! As long as it’s not a white dress (I’ve got a great round-up for those right here if you’re looking) then you’re fine!

When it comes to style, I’d stick to anything that can keep you warm if the weather gets a bit too chilly. Midi dresses and floor-length gowns are options you should keep in mind. I’ve always been a fan of a solid jumpsuit. They’re flattering on every body type and probs have pockets. Double-win.  If you’re like me, then you love to procrastinate to figure out what to wear right before an event. I love how fast Nordstrom’s shipping is and it’s free! I promise this is totally #notsponsored, but Amazon Prime and Nordstrom are the only things that keep me going when I’m pressed for time. 😂  Lulus, Boohoo, Pink Lily Boutique, Express, Nordstrom, Revolve, and The Red Dress Boutique are also some of my go-to’s for events!
