3 Ways to Style Your Favorite Gladiator Sandals

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the latest trend but then had no idea what you were doing? (Aka me with choker necklaces. Don’t worry, I’ll figure that out eventually) These were my initial thoughts when I bought these beautiful, gladiator sandals from DSW, the Holy Mecca of great shoe finds. I began to play around with different outfit possibilities and voilà! I’ve come up with my 3 favorite styles to pair with gladiator sandals and wanted to share. So channel your inner ‘Olivia Pope’ and check out my top choices below!

| Edgy | 

Pair a statement crop top and shorts for a bold look that’s guaranteed to turn heads. I know mine did. ;) When the sandals are paired with high-waisted shorts, it creates the illusion that you’ve got legs for daysss. And at 5’2, I’m not mad about that!

| Casual |

This look is something that I will definitely be using in the fall for football game days. I love how it instantly can make your outfit stand out in a crowd of dresses from your local boutique.  Plus, these shoes are COMFORTABLE. Which means I give it an A+ for Saturdays when I’ll be on my feet for 5+ hours!

| Girl’s Night Out |

This high-low maxi dress was the one I was most afraid to combine with these sandals. However, I couldn’t be happier with the results! Who says high-strapped shoes are solely reserved for short dresses? Hint* Make sure there’s at least 3 inches in between the bottom of your dress and the top of the shoe so that it doesn’t unintentionally make  you look shorter.

I’ve learned to not shy away from new trends and there’s always a way to try to make it work for you!
