You guys know that I love to travel. Once my sister got into medical school in Anguilla, I knew that it was only a matter of time before my mother (lol, jk. ME) demanded a family vacation there. When we found out she would graduate in August, we quickly booked our flight, hotel, and made plans months before we were able to enjoy those famous white, sandy beaches. And wow! My trip could not have been more amazing. Right when you would get too hot, a gentle breeze would come off of the ocean and the perfect weather would continue. The first day, the power was out for about 8 hours. But who could complain when you could sit outside and enjoy scenery like this?!
Because Anguilla is currently in their off-season, there was probably a grand total of about 20 people on the beach at any given time (All of my family and friends were a group of 10) so peaceful is an understatement. I love the Caribbean and I’ve been blessed to be able to visit a lot of countries, but this was definitely my favorite! I’ll be posting soon about all of my fun travel tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years, but for now… Let’s get to some fun
I’ll be posting soon about all of my fun travel tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years, but for now… Let’s get to some fun outfits, shall we? Once I know I’m traveling somewhere, it’s always fun to plan what I’m going to wear! With the weather being as hot as it is down there, I knew I wanted to stick to flowy dresses, rompers, and sleeveless ensembles.
I took one look at this romper back in March and knew I wanted to wear it on my 21st birthday! It’s light and airy and the floral pattern went perfectly with the beach theme. Plus, at the time I received 20% off of the purchase so I couldn’t go wrong!
Outfit Details:
Romper– Forever 21 (similar here and here)
Wedges– Chinese Laundry
The rest of my outfits are courtesy of U&I Boutique in Auburn, Alabama. When you combine cute dresses and BOGO summer sales, you get one very happy Tomi.

I love all of my swimsuits I was able to bring along, but I especially love my new Triangl bikini. I was skeptical at first because of the initial cost, but it was so worth it! Triangl Swimwear is famous for using neoprene, the same material used in bodysuits for surfers. It fits to your body like a dream and even though it’s based out of Australia, I received my purchase in just 3 days! Each suit is bright and attention grabbing and the patterns allow you to mix and match; leaving you with endless possibilities! Can you tell I’m excited? I’m already trying to budget for another one! I don’t even care that it’s almost fall. I’ll wear it around my apartment if I have to. Hint: This is the best time to buy swimwear! End of season always guarantees you great deals on quality swimsuits!
