Colorful nail art designs is trending in a major way this year. While a classic french or OPI Bubble Bath is always welcomed, it might be time to switch up your manicure. As a color enthusiast, I couldn’t be happier that people are vibing with more vibrant hues. And while many could argue you can attempt a DIY nail art, I know my beauty skills and limitations. Believe me, I do NOT have the patience to pull off half of this! So for your next trip to the nail salon, share one of these ideas with your nail technician!
1- Make sure your nail tech knows exactly what you want before you start. While the design might not be difficult, it could be more time-consuming than what they have space for on their schedule!
2- Check out the nail salons tagged photos (not just their Instagram feed) and customer reviews. A few places will repost fancy nail designs as inspiration vs. what they’re actually capable of! This way you can know if your mani will be “Pinterest-perfect.”
3- I suggest using Gel vs. SNS! The jury is still out on which one is better for you (there’s a variety of factors). However, I’ve found that it’s easier to have a bit more freedom with gel nails. Plus, they’ll last long enough to make the trip to the nail salon worth it anyway!
