All packed up for my trip to Punta Cana! I’m traveling on behalf of Hyatt’s newest adults-only, all-inclusive resort- Zilara Cap Cana! Coming along for the journey is one of my best friends from college, Libby. You might remember her from this bridesmaid post of my wedding! The funny thing is that we hadn’t Facetimed or seen each other in person since then, only texted. I messaged her the night before and I was like lol, should we try and talk on the phone first?! That’s one of the best things about traveling with your friends. You never have to worry about hanging out because it’s always so seamless even after months/years!
While I have been to Punta Cana before, I’ve obviously never been to this resort. I’m so excited! My last trip was with my parents, sister, and our husbands so this will be a little different. ;) I’m sharing my packing list for our time in the Dominican Republic and will link to this page during our stay. If you have any questions, please let me know! I’ll be sharing a full review of the resort and time abroad within the next week or so.
Most of my swimwear is from Amazon now. No shame. However, I did just score this colorful one-piece from Summersalt and I’m obsessed.
I haven’t worn flip flops in literal years. I prefer the comfort of a nice heel! We’re only there for 5 days, but I may have packed 7-8 pairs of shoes. Whoops! My go-to style is this wedge from Nordstrom or these sandals for a comfier fit on the beach.
Most all-inclusive hotels have different restaurants with various dress codes. Make sure you pack something that can work for each one!
This hat was a big hit on the ‘gram, but I couldn’t link it through LiketoKnow. It! You can grab the oversized floppy hat, here! And yes, it took up the entire side of my suitcase LOL. Worth it!
