While I was living in New York City, I had the opportunity to stay in a boutique hotel for a staycation. It only took one time and I was HOOKED. I love the unique characteristics and how it’s such an affordable, but luxurious experience. When I came back for New York Fashion Week, I just knew I had to find another boutique hotel that fit my needs. Thankfully, after a few google searches, I found the beauty of YOTEL!
YOTEL is perfectly situated in Midtown by plenty of transportation options and two blocks from Times Square for tourists. As you can see, the decor is bright and whimsical so it instantly puts you in a good mood right when you walk through the door. The hotel is also surprisingly focused on tech. They have a robot that stores your luggage (yes, seriously!) and compact vending machines filled with phone chargers on every floor.
The views from your room point out beautiful New York City skyscrapers while also giving you a tranquil getaway from the bustling streets below. In addition to having the city’s largest rooftop terrace and bar, they also have outdoor movie screenings! I was SO sad I was too busy to catch one while it was still nice outside. Yotel also has an event space inside for stars of off-broadway productions to come perform. If you saw my NYFW recap, you’ll see how much talent walks through that door!
With a quiet space to relax in between shows, YOTEL was the ideal choice for my stay while I was in NYC. From the rain showers to the adjustable bed, I’ll definitely be marking this down for my next visit back to the city. P.S. They have 8 locations, so check and see if you can book a room at YOTEL for your next vacation!
