I feel like this month just FLEW by! 2021 is really not slowing down. A solid pair of denim shorts is a MUST-HAVE in the summer, but especially in the south. They’re my go-to outfit option right now. This distressed, high-rise pair fits TTS (true to size). I’m wearing a size 4 but should’ve stuck with my typical size 2! Add in a bodysuit, hoop earrings, and some comfy shoes to last me all evening and you’ve described my summer night out uniform.
I first shared this home decor find on my email newsletter (shoutout to my Friday fam). After I realized it was quickly selling out before restocks, I posted it to my stories. Let’s just say it was definitely a follower favorite! This faux olive tree was a nice addition to our living room corner. It’s hard to find fake plants that still look classy but this is a solid dupe for the $400 Pottery Barn equivalent. We unboxed it, fluffed out the branches a bit and it looks pretty good!

I know, I know. You’re probably tired of me talking about my love for this book. But I can’t recommend it enough! It’s an adorable romantic comedy with diverse characters and believable storylines. After a collab with World Market in May, I revealed the patio transformation of my dreams. It has been such a blessing to have outdoor space. I’m glad I was able to bring my longtime vision to life! Trust me. The yellow heels are the first of many. My commitment to a vibrant wardrobe will truly be head to toe! Now if I can only secure the colorful wig of my dreams…
I’ve been a fan of the Fresh Beauty moisturizer for over a year now. And as a skincare brand, they’re one of the few I feel comfortable recommending to followers where you just can’t go wrong! The Kombucha Antioxidant Essence in particular is one I haven’t tried until recently as I already use a toner. (And does one really need both? Let’s chat about this later). But after I asked myself a simple, “Why not?” I added it to my routine and… Y’ALL. It’s GOOD. Like ‘face just drank a gallon of water’ good.
Like many of you, I struggle with dry skin- even in summer! It’s great for some extra hydration, but no, it’s not a necessity. If you’re feeling a bit bougie, add this into your routine on your exfoliation days to help rebalance the skin.
